Why Inter Science Institute
Since the publication of the first GI Handbook in 1977 up to the current edition of Neuroendocrine Tumors, Inter Science Institute has been at the forefront of bridging the gap between academic medicine and the availability of the most current tests for patient diagnosis. In the intervening four decades, unparalleled progress
has been made both in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and neuroendocrine tumors.
This has been the simple mantra of ISI since its inception, “stay small but perform with distinction”. The accretion of leadership, performance, experience, commitment, and the delivery of accurate dependable analytical data, that correlates with the clinical manifestation, is the ultimate hallmark of ISI’s capabilities.
Peer Review and Accreditation
As evidenced by the numerous and various licenses, registrations and accreditations, the Institute strongly adheres to the philosophy of peer review and meeting all requirements at the State and Federal level. Equally, the self-motivated approach to excel in providing the best possible service both in quality and medical usefulness complements and strengthens formal requirements. The establishment of the Medical Council since the inception of the Institute is a major and significant motivating and guiding element for the Institute’s progress. The distinguished academic endocrinologists and gastroenterologists who serve on the Institute’s Medical Council testify to our realistic awareness that practical clinical laboratory medicine must be rooted in the actual practice of clinical endocrinology and gastroenterology. Inter Science Institute is proud of its record of service to the medical community. It is equally proud of its fiercely independent approach and innovative application of pioneering test procedures. To this end, we shall remain steadfast and unyielding in order to provide the leadership and performance that has been the Institute’s hallmark.
